News For Christian Singles

Christian eBuy presents Christian Cafe, one of the premier Christian singles websites on the web. If you are a single Christian, please click on the image above.

Online Christian Singles Searching Works!

Finding Christian singles in the past involved having to visit other churches or asking friends and family if they know anyone that is single and Christian. But now the internet makes all this much easier! I know because about three years ago, my cousin, a Christian, married a Christian man she met on the internet. So if you are single Christian and you want a trustworthy Christian singles service to use, then Christian Cafe is the place for you to visit.

The Importance Of Finding a Single Christian As A Mate

The Bible says that “He who finds woman (a wife), finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. (Proverbs 18:22) God see it as a very important thing for a man and woman to find one another and to later marry. But many Christians do not realize the importance of finding a Christian mate. A Christian mate ordained by God can be the difference in living a long, fruitful, prosperous life overflowing with the blessings of God or ending in divorce. We all know of marriages that work even with a couple that do not believe the same way. But believe me, you do not know what is going on behind closed doors and they are not living in the fullness of God’s blessings.

Solomon’s Mistakes

The Bible says to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14) and a big reason for this is that the person in darkness will tend to lead the believer astray, back into a life of sin. Paul goes on to say, what does Christ have in common with Belial, light with darkness, righteousness with wickedness? The answer is nothing! King Solomon failed in this. He took 700 wives & 300 concubines and was led astray from his faith. The Bible said that he followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians & Molech, the detestable god of the Ammorites, so he did evil in the sight of the Lord. He fell from God’s favor, and it was all due to the wives who led him into idolatry. (1 Kings 11) — SO LOOK FOR CHRISTIAN SINGLES!

Applying This To Today’s Christian Single

We can take this principal in God’s Word, and apply to our life. For instance, after I first met my wife, I was not sure if she was a Christian, and so on the first call, I asked her if she was. She said “Yes” (Thank God!) and the rest is history, but I was fully prepared to witness to her if she said no. This was because I had fully made up my mind to only date single Christians!
All it takes is making that kind of decision today! Why look for love in all the wrong places when you can have it the way God intended, a match made in heaven! (I couldn’t resist! :-) If you are single… Go to Christian Cafe RIGHT NOW and look around for your possible match made in heaven!

Are Credit Cards an Epidemic?

Credit Cards, an Epidemic?
by Christopher Jones

Credit Cards are bad. Period. There is no other way to say it. Credit Cards, along with interest only loans (which I’ll save for another day) are a true plague. The only reason why you should not give up credit cards is if you enjoy throwing money down the drain. I will attempt to outline for you ways in which credit card companies prey on people. Not just people, but people who are already in debt over their head. Below you will find a couple real life examples of the low life practices credit card companies use every single day. I will detail for you why most Credit Counseling Services are bad, and should not even be considered as a viable option. I will give you sources for how to truly get out of debt and some people/organizations that can help. In the end, I truly hope you do learn something from this page. I hope that it gives you the willingness to get out of debt and stop throwing your hard earned money down the drain.

“Become 100% Debt Free in 3 to 5 Years GUARANTEED!”
 (Including your mortgage!)

Throughout college I personally had one credit card which I vowed would be used only in situations when I was out of money and something came up that I just couldn’t miss out on. Well, for a young college kid both of those situations came up quiet often. I, like most of my part-time working friends, ran out of money frequently and it seemed like there was something going on every other day that I just couldn’t miss out on. The credit limit on my Visa was $2,000. By the time I graduated from college I had about $1,200 on it. Some of my friends ran up $10,000’s of credit card debt.

I started a full-time job and paid off my card right away. One of my unfortunate friends is stuck with $9K left on a card with an annual rate of over 18%… He also has a new apartment and is currently making $26K per year. This is just one example of how it starts. He hadn’t planned on having that much debt. But it happened. He would knew his bank account was getting low and right there next to his debit card was his Visa.

So, you’ve gotten yourself into this mess and you want to know your options…
A year later I got married and brought on my wife’s student loan and credit card debt of just over $1,000. This is when I first realized how low credit card companies can go. My wife requested a hold on her account for 4 months prior to our wedding. Things were tight and she asked if she could postpone paying for that amount of time. She was told that would be fine, but she didn’t get the reps name or a confirmation number. Fast forward to 5 months later after our honeymoon. When I opened the bill I almost threw up. The balance was $1,700. A $700 increase in 5 months time. I called the credit card company right away and after going through many loops to be authorized to talk to them on behalf of my wife I found out the problem. The hold was never put on the account and they have no record of my wife ever calling. How can I dispute that with no record of it myself. So, my wife’s account incurred some serious late charges over the 5 month period of time. But it doesn’t stop there. I asked the rep what the annual percentage rate for her card is…34%..

After waking up from fainting, I quickly called my credit card company and asked about any balance transfer deals. Luckily they had a deal for prime - 2%, so I transferred the entire amount and we’re still paying on it today (almost gone though!).

I’ll briefly touch on a couple more examples of the tactics used by credit card companies, then get to a true action plan for getting out of debt. Credit Card companies literally accept almost anyone. You may balk and that thinking, well I have been declined etc. What most people don’t know is that the companies actually only check a sample of credit reports. A high percentage of credit reports go unchecked, thus people in debt up to their ears often qualify for a new card and the hold they’ve dug gets deeper and deeper.

Credit Card companies are notorious for using great promotions (bait) to get people signed on. There are some things you should be cognizant of before taking any of these deals. If you’re reading this page the type of deal you would most likely be interested in is a balance transfer deal. Most balance transfer promotions offer 0% for x period of time.

The only time you should even consider one of these promotions is if the transfer amount is minimal and you are absolutely confident you will have no trouble paying it off within the year. The rate after the promotion typically increases to 15% or greater and you’ll end up in the same position you’re currently in. You should be patient and find a deal where the balance transfer rate remains the same throughout the life of the transfer.

You should also only go with the promotion if you can get at least the prime rate, even better would be prime - x%. Lastly, it is implicit that the payments be made on time, every month. Otherwise the rate will increase exponentially and you’re screwed, again.

So, you’ve gotten yourself into this mess and you want to know your options… You only have a few options, but you should feel comforted to know that these methods are prove. You probably have heard commercials on the radio, or even seen some on TV for credit counseling services, promising to consolidate your debt and lower your down payment. What those commercials fail to tell you is that a majority of those companies are actually owned by… the Credit Card companies… Another thing the commercials don’t tell you is that using a service like that is seen as a step above filing bankruptcy as far as your credit score is concerned. Here are some options that will allow you to get out of the hole, without damaging your credit report for 10 years.

Debt Snowball
You’ve likely heard about it before, or you may even know what it is already. That is fine. The key point here is that you must put it into action. As Dave Ramsey, the originator of this method said “”This is the toughest of all the Baby Steps,” he writes. “It is so hard, but it is so worth it.” For those of you that don’t know what it is, here is a brief summary: Keep in mind that this excludes your home mortgage, as well as any other real-estate or business loan that totals more than 50% of your annual income.
Make a list of your debt (lets say there are 5 on your list), putting it in order with the highest rate debt first. Pay the minimum payments on 2-5 and pay as much as you can possibly pay on

#1. Once you’ve paid off number 1, the amount that you can pay on #2 will increase by default (snowball effect).
To learn more about the Debt Snowball method and for inspiration on getting through this process I highly recommend Dave Ramsey’s books, which are available at Amazon.com
If you feel that you need guidance from a third party to get out of debt and shred you credit cards there are a handful of credit counselors that truly have your best interest at heart. Be sure and check out Dave Ramsey’s website to find the closest counselor today.

Christian Life Coaching for Work-at-Home Professionals

New Developments Make Christian Life Coaching “The” Career Choice for Work-At-Home Professionalist

I have watched for a couple years now, as my wife’s career has really taken off and I must admit, I am impressed. At the age of 55, having had so many life experiences, it just made me sit up and take notice that something huge is happening. In addition to this, I have seen her income quadruple over the past year.

My wife, Leelo-Dianne Bush is a Christian Life Coach. She is also founder and president of PCCCA (Professional Christian Counseling & Coaching Academy). Her work involves helping individuals reach their goals, improve their lives and relationships and overcome obstacles that held them back. She does her work 95% over the phone from her office in our home. Working by phone, she tells me is far more time-efficient and removes geographic barriers. And coaching is all about efficiency and action-driven results, right?

Life Coaching as a profession dates back a mere 30 or so years. While people have been mentoring and coaching others to success for thousands of years, in our fast paced, affluent world, people have stress and time-management problems. Some people just want more out of life. They are willing to invest in themselves to get their life and/or career on track.

Although life coaching started in the secular community, most coaches have a spiritual orientation they bring to coaching. Christians, because our faith involves living and promoting an abundant Christian walk, cannot in good conscience coach others to achieve selfish ends. And let’s face it, about 80% of Americans consider themselves to be Christians. Enter Christian Coaching.

Christian Coaching is Christ-centered, biblically sound and applies these as well as practical strategies to achieve balance in our lives, give back to our community and live in the abundance that the bible teaches us to live in. Poverty simply isn’t biblical. How much can we bless others when we have nothing? And we are called to be a blessing and reach the world for Christ. In doing so, we need to give others a reason to want what we have. When we have peace, joy, financial security and great relationships, it is a great testimony to the world.

When people know we are Christians, they watch us more closely. They want to see whether we walk our talk. They want to know that we have integrity. It all works together to enhance the Christian community and our image. In my opinion, being a Christian is a whole lot more than just saying we are Christian. It defines a faith and a lifestyle.

I have had a life-long passion for helping others. I am the kind of person who is always called on when something needs change or improvement. Seeing how my wife is able to help others, coach them to success, train new Christian Coaches and reap in countless blessings has opened my eyes to this new profession. So I made the decision to become a Certified Christian Life Coach myself. When I have my certification completed, my wife and I will form a joint practice where she will continue what she does and I will become a Christian Life Coach for men. My specialty will likely be helping men achieve balance in their lives so they don’t go through mid-life crises and helping men transition to new careers or retirement.

If you have considered working from home or want to fulfill your calling by helping others either in a solo practice or within your church community, visit the website for Professional Christian Counseling & Coaching Academy at www.pccca.org.

If you want more information on whether this is the right career choice for you, PCCCA has a new ebook entitled “How To Start A Christian Coaching Practice” offered at their website at http://pccca.org/My_Homepage_Files/Page10.html. This ebook at $3.00, shows you the ins and outs of this profession and how to get started so you know what you are getting into before you invest a considerable amount in your training.

Christian Ethics & Servant Leadership in Today’s Workplace & Society
by Dedra Allen

Sundered Knight:
Although the world,
Denies the weak aid and justice,
Scorns charity,
Diminishes morality
And Godly virtues daily.
Holding no places for honor
Nor honesty
And exiling all

Who hold these traits dear,
Still,
It is better to be a sundered knight
Than no knight at all

By S. Bryant Lewis

If one wishes to be a Knightly leader in the world today, it is very difficult to do so. Why? The world makes it so hard to do what is right - what is honorable - what is Christ-like. The negative peers in our lives tell us things like, “… nice guys finish last and that no good deed goes unpunished.” The poem Sundered Knight speaks of those who strive to do what is right in a world that sometimes has little tolerance for ethics.

So what exactly is a Knight? He or she is a servant leader and a fervent supporter or defender of the weak. They also defend and support Godly virtues like morality, honor and honesty. A Sundered Knight is someone who is sometimes ridiculed or put down for doing what is ethical - for doing what is right. He or she is sometimes even treated with contempt in society for their moral or ethical beliefs. Have you ever felt like a sundered Knight?
The world we live in did not become so harden overnight. This has been happening for a long time. In the time of Zephaniah [an Old Testament prophet], there was a serious lack of morals and ethics. Just like a cancer, this lack of morality and ethics ate away at every part of society in Zephaniah’s time. Zephaniah’s people, just like those of today, were arrogant, treacherous, profane, and did violence to the law. [Zep 3:1-7]

As a servant leader – a Knight, never place trust in peers who use negative peer pressure. More times than not, these negative peers will not come through for you, so don’t expect them to. This way you will not be disappointed. Look to Jesus for your example. The Lord promises over and over that he will lift us up. Hold him to his promises and let the Lord be the one you wish to lift you up.

So when you feel the negative peer pressure, at work or in public places, is getting to you, seek the Lord to lift you up. The Lord is always true to his promises. Seek out the encouragement that God gives in his word - [Pv. 24:16, 19-20] 16… A righteous [man] may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity. 19 Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the wicked; 20 for there will be no prospect for the evil [man;] the lamp of the wicked will be put out.

These verses were true in the time of King Solomon and are so very true, even today. Those negative peers taking short cuts to get out of something or to get ahead. Such negative peers are not mentors to be looked up to or be jealous over. Never forget, that negative peer pressure is alive and well in the work place and society. There really is no lasting prospect for those who are seeking short cuts to get out of work or to get ahead at work or in today’s society.

God knows your situation. And because God does know your situation, it is with an understanding and tender heart that he says to his Knights: [Is 51:7] ” Listen to me, you who know righteousness, you people in whose heart [is] my law: Do not fear the reproach of men, nor be afraid of their insults.

Although the world “…diminishes morality…” in Zephaniah’s time, God was there for him. [Zep 3:5] The LORD [is] righteous in [our] her midst, He will do no unrighteousness. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He never fails, but the unjust knows no shame.

Always be faithful, always be encouraged, always be a servant leader, and always be a Knight, who defends the weak and holds all Godly virtues dear.

Pinless Calling Cards

PIN-less Dialing Option!

Are you looking to get christian phone card?  If you are, then we can definitely recommend a source for Christian phonecards now!

What is PIN-less dial?

PIN-less dial enables the phone card user with the ability to make a call without having to enter a PIN. The feature is set up from one specific phone or primary phone that the user makes most calls from.Christian PhoneCards

How do Pinless Dialing Calling Cards Work?

PIN-less dial does not eliminate the use of an access number, the user must still enter an access number, this is the only way to access our system.

PIN-less does exactly what it says and removes the need to enter a pin as long as the user is calling from their primary phone.

Once the user has entered the access number instead of the system asking for a pin it will just ask to enter the destination number.

First, set up PINless Dialing by calling the toll free number listed with the instructions you’ll receive with your card. You will need your telephone number and your card’s PIN # (PIN # is under scratch off panel on the back of the card. ONLY use coin or fingernail to scratch). – Then when making a call the user only has to enter the access number, (the card system recognizes your phone number and waives the need to enter the PIN). Then enter the destination number as usual.

If the customer wants to use the service away from their primary phone they will still have to use a pin to complete a call.

Next, program the 866 access # into your phone’s speed dial. Then just touch the speed dial button and dial as usual. Its that EASY!

We suggest you use your card for ALL your long distance calling. This way you know every call is generating income for the organization you are supporting, AND you are getting a terrific rate of 3.9 cents a minute on ALL your long distance calls within the continental US. Everyone Wins!!

Thank you again and may God richly bless you.

Jesus Take The Wheel - By Carrie Underwood

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

By Carrie Underwood
from her album entitled Some Hearts

Carrie Underwood is spectacular in her latest album entitled “Jesus Take The Wheel”.  This phenom country music star is really making Christian inroads into the mainstream American Idol audience and showing the world that it is cool to be a Christian and allow “Jesus to Take The Wheel“.

Amazon editors really gave her a great review by saying…

“The big-voiced Oklahoman has the pipes, the look, the pedigree, and, most important, the emotional resonance to sustain a professional career.”

We at Christian eBuy.com, completely agree with Amazon on this and would encourage other Christian’s who like country music to buy this album.  She is the perfect example of the American dream come true.

How To Go To Heaven

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

If you aren’t sure that you will go to heaven, you can be sure right now. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was raised from the dead on the third day, and is alive in heaven. All we have to do is believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord of our lives and we are saved. It is that simple. Pray this prayer with us…

Jesus,
Come into my heart.
Forgive me for all my sins.
I believe that you bled and died on the cross for my salvation.
You were raised from the dead on the third day.
You are the Son of God, and from now to eternity you are the Lord of my life.

Jesus, I thank you for saving me.
I will praise you and give you glory forever.
Amen
